This jobanna was thrown, painted and fired by hand following a centuries-old technique that found its origins in the famous city of Fez.
This two-piece cannister has the traditional shape of its 15th century counterparts. Moroccans used these originally as a small soup container, but nowadays as a practical decorative item such as a jewelry box, candy jar, etc.
